Not so easily adjustable…,
I bought this chair because supposedly, it is fully adjustable and can seat different body types and sizes comfortably, compared to the other models I was looking at. (We use Oakworks at school.) Unfortunately, the seat height doesn’t adjust because the chair has a “smart seat”, where the person can sit closer or farther away from the chest pad. Thus, I was able to seat the clients comfortably but my body mechanics suffered a bit because I was massaging from a higher angle. Also, the arm rest should be parallel to the ground, but the chair has certain settings and it won’t always align the way you want it to.

Pros-it looks nice and cushions are comfortable and soft.
Cons-the frame is plastic, the arm rest and seat have too much movement when pressure is applied to the client.
Im going to try stronglite ergo pro.

|Best Portable Massage Chair,
The is my second Avila II massage chair. I still use my first one, but needed a second chair. I’ve tried other chairs, but the Avila II has the best ergonomic adjustment features for both massage therapist and client. You can work on a very short or tall person with equal ease, and my clients love the chair so much that they joke about taking it home with them. It’s worth the cost and holds up very well over time. I highly recommend it!
