I purchased the Roscoe Knee Walker after purchasing and being disappointed by the Kneebop Scooter. The Roscoe is superior to the Kneebop in three ways. First, the height of the knee platform is more adjustable on the Roscoe. I am 5'4" and on the Kneebop, I could not fit on the on the knee platform without it causing my hip to hitch up. I had it set at the lowest setting. On the Roscoe, I could adjust it so that my hips were even. Also, the foam pad on the Roscoe was both supportive and cushioned. On the Kneebop, the foam was too squishy and my knee cap sort of slid toward the front of my thigh as a result. This was a deal breaker. It's like having a weak ankle and walking on dry sand as opposed to wet. I have rheumatoid arthritis and my tendons are loose. To have my knee rest on too soft of a surface caused immediate discomfort. If I had used the scooter long term, it would have been problematic. The Roscoe was far more supportive, and after 6 weeks of constant use, my knee feels just fine. Also, the wheels on the Roscoe are wider and feel more stable.

The two downsides to the Roscoe are: 1) the turning radius is wide; and 2) the handbrake was really tight. I resolved both of these problems with a trip to my local bike shop, where they altered the steering column to increase the turning radius, and changed the brake cable so that it was easier to squeeze. Be careful if you adjust the radius, however--it makes the scooter less stable. Given the tiny square footage of our house, I opted for a less stable, but easier to maneuver scooter.

Overall, I have loved the Roscoe scooter. I have been able to get it into my minivan by myself, even with RA, and a foot in the cast. It has made my recovery from ankle fusion surgery doable. I have a 5 yo at home, and it was crucial that I was as mobile as I could be during this lengthy recovery.

The battery life on this scooter is even better than I expected. I just use it going back and forth to meals in the dinning hall (5 minutes away by scooter) and I haven't needed to charge the battery yet and I have been using it for more than two weeks. This is great, because the recharge port is fairly low on the scooter and not as easy to get to as it could be, for people with limited bending ability. Overall great quality and very comfortable to use. The swivel seat really makes is easy to get in and out of the scooter. Very satisfied and would recommend this scooter to anyone with limited walking ability.

Got this scooter from Amazon for at least $100 less than anywhere else I could find. It's for my wife. Simple to set up, gets really good run time on a charge. Actually hasn't needed recharging yet, used it a lot on trips to Lowes, Cabellas, and Sears. It just goes and goes. I like that you can easily set max speed limit. When you want to go really fast, it really goes. Can't walk as fast, few do that.

Most mobility scooters and chairs have solid rubber tires and no springs or shock absorbers. There are streets here that have rough pebble surfaces and they shake the teeth out of you if you try to use them. Even sidewalks cause them to chatter as you go bumping along.
You feel every sidewalk joint.
Also, when replacing batteries,do it yourself or have a handman do it. It's lots cheaper. Open the battery case (if your specs don't tell you the "size" battery) and find the size and order from Amazon battery supplier. This will cost less than half as much as buyng from the scooter companies and local reps.
And you get free shipping and return shipping, if needed, from Amazon if you are a Prime Customer. Plus their guarantee.
I was able to get larger charge batteries for my GoGo. I found the ones that came with it were UB12120 (Universal Battery 12 volt, 12 ampere-hours per charge.) And that the UB12150 have the same physical size, but 3 more ampere-hours (not hours) of use before recharge. This means you can go longer and in my case up longer, steeper hills than with the original.

this bar has a few features we couldn't find in others within our budget of $650-$700. when standing behind, the counter drops how a real bar should drop so you could prepare your drinks at a comfortable height and your guest sitting up front can't even see the mess behind. amazon doesn't have a picture of the other side but you could just google it on other websites (PICTURE FOR OTHER SIDE - [...]) and come back to purchase it here cause even with shipping it's the cheapest here. there's a full length drawer from end to end on top and two clear glass doors with shelves on one side and storage for bottles on the other side. the enclosed storage is in the middle straight section and the angled sides has open shelves with rodes to hang some glasses upside-down. at first i wasn't sure about the clear glass but now i like it cause i could display my rare collectors bottles. overall it's a great bar and looks much more expensive then what i paid for it. better then the bob's discount store quality and looks rich. only bad thing i can say about it is that you really need to use coasters cause the top forms rings so easily from glasses and beer bottles. i'll probably buy a mat for the prep area to protect the wood. also our top has a little dented defect on the side (not that noticable). keep in mind that it gets shipped in 1 big assembled piece wrapped in cardboard. it was a challenge getting it up the turn-around stairs in our small condo, but do-able with 2 guys. if you have questions you can easily call the company selling it, just click on the name and google their #. they told me it was a "home delivery," however it was a nightmare scheduling a delivery date with our local fed-ex freight company. i had to argue with the guy to bring it to the main entrance door and from there on he said it was not his job to bring it up the stairs cause he's not a "furniture delivery guy". when fed-ex calls just make it clear to them as to what needs to be done so if you need to you can prepare beforehand. also note that the bar does NOT come with stools but i thought that was a plus point so i could pick my own. it's the focus point in our living room so don't hesitate to order online if you can't find something just as good at the stores

I was hesitant to purchase this bar because I had never ordered anything so large and expensive through Amazon. I was very pleased with my purchase! The package arrived on time and it was obvious the seller took a lot of time to wrap the item so that it would be less likely to get damaged during shipping. It paid off, because the bar is in perfect condition. The bar was in two pieces, so all we had to do for assembly was attach the top to the base. The only thing I would change is that the top is made of the same wood material as the rest of the bar. I would have preferred it to have been made of a material that is more "spill friendly." Overall, I am very happy with my new bar.

If you're looking for a segmental body composition monitor that will transmit your readings wirelessly to your computer, this may be the scale for you.

Word of warning: read the description carefully. The only way to get access to all of the BC-1500's features is to use the Healthy Edge software. The software is free, and comes with the scale. The problem is that the software only works on PCs. It does not work on Macs. Tanita is either unwilling or unable to make a Mac-compatible version available to BC-1500 customers. Mac users have to use Tanita's web-based product, [...]. Unfortunately, [...] does not offer the same functions and features as Healthy Edge.

This is a very expensive monitor. To get access to all of its features, you have to use the BC-1500 in conjunction with free Healthy Edge software on a PC. Healthy Edge does not support Mac. If you have a Mac, you might as well buy a less expensive monitor that does not come with all the BC-1500 features. You won't be able to use them anyway.

I'm fairly healthy but I've wrestled with the herpes simplex virus (cold sores) for about 30 yrs. Every 2-4 mos I was getting a cold sore, sometimes more than one at the same time. Very bothersome as you can imagine- I was constantly having to throw away lipsticks, chapsticks, etc so I wouldn't reinfect myself, the sores would break open and bleed when I ate or smiled, etc. Anyway, I met someone with a Rife machine that told me his daughter had the same problem and had been cured for 2 years after 2 treatments on the machine (apparently she was reinfected at a later date) so I took a treatment on the machine and went almost 1 yr without a breakout. Very nice! I'd love to own one of these machines- if I ever round up that much disposable cash I will definitely buy one! BTW, my friend also told me of his own experiences and friends/families experiences with his machine- very impressive!
